Regency Period Rosewood and Gilt Bronze Mounted Library or Sofa Table
Regency period rosewood and gilt bronze mounted library or sofa table, in the Greek revival manner. The top banded in calamander, with brass stringing, surmounting flush frieze drawers outlined in gilt bronze filleting. The lopers inset with brass sheets, with a scrolling decoration of tendrils. The stretcher faux rosewood, with gilt highlights, connecting legs likewise gilt bronze highlighted, with gilt brackets, terminating in scrolled feet, inset with gilt bronze, and gilded rosettes.
