At the same time, he involved himself with the heritage industry in England, working for both The Georgian Group and the National Portrait Gallery. He is presently on exeunt from further studies at The Warburg Institute.
Keith D. McCullar qualified as a certified public accountant with his initial employment with the international accounting firm Price Waterhouse. He then segued into providing private consulting services for select clients on financial and banking matters. A long time advocate for public broadcasting, he is a charter director and former board president of White Ash Broadcasting.
With the combination of connoisseurship developed over decades as shrewd collectors and knowledgeable dealers, Chappell & McCullar have wedded this to their financial expertise. They bring a strong element of empiricism to collections management, assessing the desires and objectives of individual collectors whilst assisting with cataloguing.
While each artwork is unique, Chappell & McCullar do attempt to suggest patterns within the fine and decorative arts canon, allowing both private and institutional collectors to achieve some focus in their future acquisitions. And, to assist, Chappell & McCullar can provide guidance in acquiring additional pieces that articulate with an existing collection and suggest ways in which pieces that do not articulate might be disposed of.
Chappell & McCullar are happy to hear from private collectors, museums and other institutional collectors, and interior designers. See our Contact page for further and better particulars.
