George III Satinwood Secretaire Bookcase
George III satinwood secretaire bookcase of breakfront outline in the manner of Gillows. The bookcase portion with brass grillwork before shelves and fabric-lined interior. The drawers flanking a central secretaire drawer, above four fielded panel cupboard doors, all supported by toupie feet. The secretaire interior with a range of fitted drawers with ivory pulls and mahogany drawer linings. the exterior drawers all lined in cedar. The bookcase all strung in ebony, with secretaire portion banded in purple heart.
