Regency Period Rosewood and Gilt-Metal Mounted Library Table in the manner of Gillows

Regency period rosewood and gilt-metal mounted library table. The circular top with gilt tooled green leather, supported on four square downswept legs ending in leaf cast caps and castors. The table drum and the centre of the legs enriched with embossed metal filleting. The drawers all fitted with Bramah patent locks. The ‘spindle’ design legs are particular to Gillows designs of the period.
