Early Victorian kidney shaped writing desk. The leather inset top of kidney shape, with a brass gallery to the rear, banded in burr yew with burr yew veneered frieze drawers, and supported by ‘barley sugar’ twist columns of walnut, and terminating in carved walnut outswept legs either side, above brass casters.
